Few small-college soccer fields on the West Coast are on a par with Linfield. Steadily taking shape over the last 15 years, the facility has blossomed into one of the finest soccer and lacrosse venues of its kind.

Steadily taking shape over the last 15 years, the facility has blossomed into one of the finest soccer and lacrosse venues of its kind.The development began in earnest in 1999, when the pitch was enclosed with a perimeter fence. Vinyl slats were added to the fence, creating a sense of intimacy for spectators and players alike. In 2001, bleacher seating for 750 was erected on a large concrete platform. Covered team benches and an elevated, enclosed press box were constructed. A new electronic scoreboard was installed in 2013. The one-of-a-kind facility also features the use of state-of-the-art Perma-Lines. Artificial white fibers are imbedded in the field surface, saving the expense and repetition of lining the field for matches.
Adjacent to the game field are twin practice fields, reducing wear and tear on the main field. The game field's dimensions are 70 yards by 120 yards. All three fields were located on property owned by the Hewlett-Packard Company, which donated the land to the college.
Prior to the 1990 season, the soccer and softball teams shared was is now the present-day softball diamond.
Linfield annually serves as host for the Region IV Olympic Development Program during the summer months. Top soccer players from up and down the West Coast gather at Linfield to showcase their talent.
Future plans call for construction of a ticket booth, concession stand and restroom building.
